Enjoy the panoramic ride up to the famous Glacier 3000 with a 15 minute cable car ride taking you 3000 meters! Glacier 3000 is open all year round with stunning views and high altitude experiences. Cross the Peak Walk by Tissot - a 107 meter long suspension bridge connecting two peaks. Ride the Alpine Coaster - a wild glacier ride on the highest situated toboggan run in the world. Add-on some extra excitment with a glacier Husky Dog Sled Ride or cruise the snow in a Snow Cat!
PEAK WALK BY TISSOT
Another world first at Glacier 3000 is the famous Peak Walk by Tissot. The suspension bridge connects two mountain peaks taking you on the best high altitude experience of your life!
The 107 meter long bridge offers stunning views of the Alps including Mont Blanc, Eiger, Matterhorn, Monch and Jungfrau.
GLACIER 3000 WALK & ICE CAVE
After your cable car ride, experience the Glacier on foot via the Ice Express chairlift - An easy route up! Enjoy a secured hike across crevasses and see the bright blue water of melting ice.
The walks takes around 1hr taking you to the Restaurant Refuge l'Espace on the edge of the Glacier. If possible, visit the ice cave of Glacier 3000, also called 'the Mill' or 'Devils hole' due to its creation by a siphon of water that changes year upon year. This cave is only accessible if conditions permit.
GLACIER 3000 ALPINE COASTER
Want to ride the highest toboggan run in the world? The Alpine Coaster is an action packed ride reaching speeds of up to 40 km/hr. At more than six meters above the ground, you can feel weightless reaching the ride summits. If its too fast, you can control the toboggan with a break lever.
With 520° circles, 6 waves and 3 jumps this ride promises to get your heart beating.
GLACIER 3000 HUSKY DOG SLED RIDE
Enjoy a stunning Husky Dog Sled ride with Glacier 3000's Husky pack! A once in a lifetime experience on a glacier with Huskies. Take in the beautiful scenery around the unique alpine area of Glacier 3000 whilst enjoying these magnificent dogs.
This extra add-on is a 15 minute ride per person and is subject to availability in advance and when conditions allow it for the Huskies.
GLACIER 3000 SNOW BUS
Have you ever ridden in a snow cat? The Snow Bus from Glacier 3000 will let you discover the glacier in comfort and ease. With room for up to 20 people the Snow Bus drives like a caterpillar across the crisp snow.
Please note that this ride must be booked in advance of your arrival at Glacier 3000 at extra cost.
