Ski Transfers to Nendaz

The famous 4 Valleys strikes again with this incredible Swiss Ski resort within quick reach of both Geneva Airport and Sion – both of which GVA Transfers can assist in transfers to and from.

Nendaz Airport Transfers

Getting to Nendaz with GVA Transfers is easy. The travel time from Geneva Airport to Nendaz is 2 hours and mostly on the motorway (with the exception of the final climb into resort). Our professional driver will meet you at the airport after you land, and with our range of new vehicles, traveling to Nendaz simple.

Skiing in Nendaz

Situated in the Valais region of Switzerland, Nendaz may not have the famous name attached to it like Verbier, but that allows this unsung hero to sit pretty and proudly in the massive 4 Valley ski area.

Its modesty is only extended by its better value versus its competitors. With affordable accommodation in this quaint ski village and an excellent variety of independent chalet rentals as well as hotel options, to ensure something for most budget and desires is met.

The resort has been awarded the Family Friendly badge in Switzerland by the Swiss Tourist Board and has plenty to offer for all the family including dedicated beginner ski areas and plenty of ski schools. Plus the off-the-snow activities like sledding, ice skating, and climbing walls is more than you would expect for this relatively unknown resort.

You’ll have no trouble finding a decent fondue here, as well as more modern cuisine on offer amongst the 30 restaurants available. As always you’ll find a good amount of mountain bars to entertain during the après ski hours and a variety of choice in town to behold. Tchin-Tchin is a cosy piano bar with a wonderful atmosphere, or for something more upbeat, the terrace of Les Etagnes could be better suited for your après ski style. And if you want to continue long into the night, the nightclub L’Oxygène will accommodate you.

Nendaz has a superb variety of skiing on offer with a far-reaching 410km of terrain and superb access immediately to the highest part of that area, the staggering 3300m Mont Fort.

The Swiss also have an excellent reputation when it comes to well kept and groomed pistes so you can enjoy piste skiing at its best on wide-reaching open pistes. The ski area – the 4 Valleys, which covers Verbier La Tzoumaz Veysonnaz Thyon offers visitors two ski-pass options to choose.  The Printze Sector, which covers Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon, Les Collons and Siviez (but not including Mon-Fort glacier). This pass alone gives holidaymakers 220km, which often for learners and families may well do the trick. But the second offer would be better suited to intermediate or advanced skiers looking to explore some of the off-piste terrains, this option is the full 4 Valleys pass and does open up a great deal more. Special interest would be taken by Free-ride skiers for challenging verticals on the likes of Mont Fort, Chassoure and Mont-Gele.
